BEYOND THE STREETS PARIS EXCLUSIVE!

BEYOND THE STREETS is thrilled to present this new print edition from iconic painter and graffiti writer Tim Conlon. Tim Conlon’s customized G scale model trains are born from a lifetime of painting actual freight train graffiti starting Baltimore, Maryland in the early 90s.  Conlon painstakingly weathers and designs these miniature versions using mixed media, recreating every detail ever seen on actual-size iron horses.  Using spray paint, brushes, sponges, acrylics and imagination, he conjures authenticity, down to rust spots, dents, long-gone corporate logos, boxcar markings, and rail worker stamps.

Tim Conlon's paintings combine spray paint, typography, painterly abstraction, and tromp l'oeil to create large-scale, close-up versions of the freight trains he replicates on a miniature scale. Conlon presents a literal "peek" into freight train painting art and culture.
