Tim Conlon is a painter best known for his large-scale paintings, murals, and sculptures. His photorealistic works often depict weathered freight trains marked by layers of graffiti.
Conlon’s work has been exhibited at prominent institutions worldwide, including the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and the Petit Palais in Paris. He has also been featured in the global BEYOND THE STREETS exhibitions across Los Angeles, New York, London, Shanghai, and Paris.
His work was highlighted in Sotheby’s inaugural Hip Hop auction, and paintings from his Blank Canvas series are held in numerous collections, including that of Norfolk Southern Railway Corporation at its Atlanta headquarters. Conlon also served as a producer of SHOWTIME’s freight-train graffiti documentary, Rolling Like Thunder.
He lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
