An exploration of urban art at the Petit Palais
Following the success of WE ARE HERE in 2024—the first urban art exhibition presented at the Petit Palais—WE ARE [still] HERE continues the dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation within the museum.
Initiated by Mehdi Ben Cheikh, guest curator and artistic director, the exhibition confirms the now essential place of street art within the major cultural institutions of the City of Paris.
More than 70 French and international artists will take over the Salle Concorde with nearly 200 works, extending the legacy of creations by Seth and Inti, which are now being incorporated into the museum’s permanent collection (donation in progress).

Reconnecting with the tradition of the historic Salons that helped reveal emerging artistic talent, WE ARE [still] HERE is part of that heritage: the heritage of creation writing its own history. It offers a vibrant and compelling snapshot of the contemporary art scene, affirming that art is always in motion.
At the heart of an especially rich season for street art in Paris, the exhibition celebrates the vitality of a multicultural, engaged movement that is deeply rooted both in its era and in the French capital.
